New theoretically well founded general definitions of the amount of information contained in messages, signals and vision fields from stochastically specified sources. Specification of particular formulas and presentation of properties of the new information measures in a form suitable for engineering applications in research and development of information processing systems.
Department: ZS Duration: 2007 - 2009 Grantor: MSMT
The XML_FED project researches and develops the application integrating XML intelligent forms and voice. The aim is to enable elderly and visually impaired people to easily handle vital on-line forms such as claims for pensions, etc.
Department: ZOI Duration: 2007 - 2008 Grantor:
The project aims to utilize methods of digital image processing and pattern recognition in automatic classification of phytopathogenic fungi (within a selected taxonomy group) from microscopy images. First, proper biological specimens will be acquired, photographed and documented in cooperation with the Department of Phytopathology.
Department: AS Duration: 2007 - 2008 Grantor:
The proposed project deals with modeling and simulation of dynamic value networks, which are increasingly replacing the traditional vertically integrated enterprises.
Department: AS Duration: 2007 - 2009 Grantor: GACR
The project deals with development of the advanced techniques of assimilation of model results with observations in terrain for purposes of reliability improvement in estimation of final real state.
Department: E Duration: 2007 - 2009 Grantor: GACR
In the grant project, first, we intend to construct models of economic activities. Furthermore, we focus on a construction of approximate solution schemes of the corresponding optimization problems. Of course, to this end, an investigation of the models will be necessary.
Department: SI Duration: 2007 - 2009 Grantor: GACR
The project is aimed at investigating qualitative properties of stochastic infinite dimensional systems (in particular, of solutions to infinite dimensional stochastic equations) and at research in infinite dimensional stochastic control theory. The moreimmediate aims are: 1.
Department: ZOI Duration: 2007 - 2008 Grantor:
The project proposal is a continuation of our current joint project “Multifocus and multimodal image fusion techniques for biomedical applications” and the previous one “New developments on multimodality image fusion and spatial variant image processing”, which both have been very successful.
